Gunslinger is the new sound of electrotrance and is fronted by long time opening DJ for infected mushroom Chris Campbel and includes collaborations with Eskimo Hallucinogen, OMC and others. Being a singer/songwriter and having played in rock bands before becoming a DJ, it was a natural progression for Chris to incorporate singing and song structure into the dance format. Gunslinger has opened for some of the biggest names in trance including Infected Mushroom, Hallucinogen, GMS, X-Dream and Astrix. In 2005 he signed on with Coast II Coast and started opening regularly for Infected mushroom. He plays full on psychedelic and electro hits that are sure to get the crowd moving.

Come check out the wickid fun at the L.A. Burningman Decompression Street Faire, this Saturday, October 15, from 12 pm, till Midnight.

Below you will find the schedule for the Breaks stage. Also when the Decom is over, come by Space Island for more danze madnezz. The afta pawty will go past dawn, then drive out to the Moontribe gathering, then dance for another 48 hours, then...hehe. Kinda reminds you of your schedule on the Playa, don't it. ;).

Coachella, then you know how much love and energy we pour into our events.
With Lucent Delirium we're going to take it to the next level. The Do LaB
has been working around the clock to ensure that Oct 1st
will be spectacular, certainly our greatest event yet, and we are excited
to share it with all of you.

What's in store for Lucent Delirium?

First off, we've teamed up with Lorin (Bassnectar) to help him release his
newest album "Mesmerizing the Ultra". He'll be playing a 2 hour set on a 4
corner turbo sound system shaking the bricks loose in the building. The
albums great, go check it out...

We're also bringing in world renowned dj Cheb i Sabbah as our special guest
to help us celebrate with his unique sounds of world music and bhangra beats.

And to spice things up a bit, we're having the dusty duo that rocked the
flower art car at Burning Man with their sexy acid jazz, Helios Jive! They
score the incredible music for Lucent Dossier and they bring us to our feet
every time!!!! If you've seen them before, then you've most likely danced
your booty off. It's fun, its fresh, its sexy, its the jive!

Also sharing their beats with us are the underground favorites David
Starfire, Patricio, Porter Tinsley, Jupiter, Dandelion, and Sammy Bliss.
Each of these dj's have been making waves in their respective communities
and we're bringing them all together for one night of madness.

The fun certainly doesn’t stop there though... We've got crazy entertainment
popping out of every corner starting with the Lucent Dossier Vaudeville
Cirque. They've been dancing up a storm and there's a new wacky show in
store for you.

Plus from San Diego, a sensual fire belly dance performance by the beautiful
ladies of Atash Maya and a cute and sassy show by DangerSassyPants.
You can also catch pieces of "Fancy", a one man clown
show by none other than Vladimir Levitansky, or gaze at an enormous junk
wall while master painters Shrine, Carlos, Jesse, and Shannon paint the hell
out of it in front of your eyes. Stop by the Stardust Salon and have
extensions put into your hair or visit Buddha Monkey's Bag of Accessories
and add a little something to bring your outfit to life. We'll also have
body painting and henna tattoos, and if you're feeling crafty you can mold
clay in a workshop with Christian the Blacksmith. Or just roam the gallery
to check out the art on the walls and sit back and relax in the
headphone lounge. Hungry? Grab an organic vegan snack
from PlayFood and re-energize, cause the music's still banging and there's lots
of fun to be had!!

Xiontas had been summoned to the great Toltec city of Teotihuacán where she would be joining the most dedicated group of artists, scientists and musicians. An ancient society of Warriors of personal freedom, masters of awareness and great artists of the Spirit. It was said that with their deep understanding of reality as a dream that they could manifest anything they chose to create in their lives.

Xiontas arrived on the day of Lucent Delirium, the ancient celebration of freedom through the chaos and insanity of music, performance and art… the city is lit with love and alive with the jesters and great merry makers of our time… and on October 1st, in the year two thousand and five, this is where our tale begins…

NextAid is committed to represent the international dance community as the charity promoting an effective and practical response to the AIDS pandemic. NextAid aims to inspire people into tangible action, taking responsibility and making a difference. We believe it is each generation's responsibility to create a better future for the next.

More specifically about our pilot project:

Our pilot project is the building of an earth-friendly multi-purpose center for children orphaned by AIDS, for the youth group, Youth With A Vision (YWAV), and the larger community, in a poverty stricken township called Dennilton, 2 hours outside of Johannesburg. YWAV are determined to stop the spread of AIDS to their peers. They use theater and music to teach AIDS awareness and other critical issues. The HIV/AIDS rate in this part of South Africa is approximately 37%!

We are working with Eco-Architect Joe Kennedy to create this center that will be a showcase of green building design and a template for many such centers throughout the continent. It will be a place where resources can be concentrated, where aid can be efficiently distributed, where environmental education will be emphasized, and where the youth can reach their individual and collective potential.

At home with Juppiter

Some genius on Jupiters block couldnt get his alarm to turn off and his shit was blasting on and off for way more than not going off. Jupter goes outside and offers to help to fix it and tells him he knows how to. This mallet opens the hood for Jupiter who unhooks the battery to make the alarm stop.
Then Jupiter entirely dismantles the horn to the alarm, including all the mechanical parts and all the electrical cables, and takes the cables out of the the holes they were ran through, and hands it to the guy, describing which holes to put the wires back into and how to remount the alarm horn to his car again. Then he went back to his studio to write beats.

So classic.

Daniel was born in Los Angeles, California on November 17th, 1975. He was brought up on music from his first signs of existence. Early great influences include his father Rick and Uncle Tony Chavez, J.S. Bach, The Beatles, Miles Davis, John Mclaughlin, Ravi Shankar, John Coltrane, Kraftwerk, Afrika Bambataa, Egyptian Lover, Dr.Dre, Run DMC, Jeff Mills, Ritchie Hawtin and many more. The vibe and feeling of music is in this man's blood!

His love of music and 11+ year experience of the underground music scene has led him to perform and network all over the world, including Canada, Mexico, Japan, England, Ireland, Germany, Holland, Brazil and Costa Rica, as well as all over the USA.

The folling is information about the gathering, djs,
performers, and also directions. Please do not post
directions anywhere. For those people who did not
RSVPed, they may contacting some of you who have
directions. Please identify the people who may be
contacting you, and make sure they don't share
directions with no one else. If you feel more
comfortable, you could even invite them over to either
caravan or carpool.

Trader Joe's, through the generosity of the management
at the Silverlake Store, has donated enough food for a
communal breakfast. Thank You Adis!!! For all other
meals, please make sure you all bring enough food and
drinks for the whole weekend.

Donations will be accepted for expenses related to
putting together this gathering. Thank you in advance
for your contributions!!!

Hello Beautiful People!

We have the soundsystem (M&M Sound) and location (on
private
property with good roads, approx. 1.5 hours north of
Los Angeles)
confirmed,
so
everything is going forward! The festivities start
Friday evening and
end
Sunday afternoon.
Saturday morning begins with a sunrise ambient set;
with a line-up
featuring downtempo, dub, breaks, house, techno,
jungle, acoustic
strings and *psychedelic trance*!

The usual volunteers are needed for door, parking,
set-up, break-down
and clean-up, so if you're looking for a way to add to
this magical
weekend -- please respond and sign-up to contribute a
couple hours
of your time. :D

People with trucks are needed to help bring out (and
return)
soundsystem components (to help save the costs of
renting a truck), so
if
*you*
have a truck and can handle a cabinet or two, please
chime in.

We also need lots of help with a communal kitchen, so
if you like to
make
pancakes (hint hint nudge nudge) -- or any other
desert culinary
specialties
-- let us know below! The rule of thumb is to bring
enough water and
food
for you and your crew, with a little extra to share.
That way there is always enough for everybody. Shade
structures for
the DJ
booth and dancefloor are needed, so if you have any to
spare, please
bring
them with you. Weather is forecast to be sunny and
mild in the day,
and
chilly in the evenings -- so please plan accordingly
(and bring your
warmest
night-time clothing). There is a firepit, so please
bring firewood to
help
keep everone toasty and warm at night.

my roomate vince is hosting a really no reason to have a party and my early birthday celebration

What nerve to think he deserves his own tribe! I'll bet he doesn't even know how to use a computer and that's why this "Fugazi" character had to help him.

I know this girl, see. Her name is Tasia and she says that this guy "Jupiter" is a total lunatic. If you get invited to this tribe you have definately started hanging around w/ the wrong kind of people your mom warned you about when you were little.

"You better straighten up and fly right or your gonna end up diggin' ditches for a living!" She'd tell me.
